7/8 Boys Split With Mancelona

On December 1, the seventh and eighth grade boys played Mancelona at home.

The seventh grade boys won 29-21. The boys did not come out there strongest in the first half, but when the second half came, the boys were on fire. The lead grew through hard work on defense with numerous steals of the ball and through good shot selection. Mancelona just could not keep up with the mini Bulldogs.

“I thought we stole the ball a lot tonight,” Joey Foldenauer said.

Later on that night the eighth grade boys tried their, but came up short, 13-18. The offense was  strong, and they were working together to stay open and get baskets.

“We did pretty good, but we could have ran more plays tonight,” Hunter Bishop said.

Both teams did their best. With the season nearing the end, the seventh and eighth grader boys are only getting better.
