Band Members Play For Salvation Army

On Friday, December 11, the band was at Ken’s Village Market playing Christmas carols for the Salvation Army. There were two different songs played. The songs were Angels We Have Heard On High and Away In A Manger. They were outside for the caroling so that people going in and out will be able to hear them on the way in and when they are leaving.

Senior drum major Kathryn Studer was there to make sure everyone stayed together while playing the songs while senior drum major Kaitlyn Moore and junior drum major Tamara Mesack were there with their instruments to help out the other band members. Kaitlyn Moore was playing for the entire flute section. There was two trombones, two clarinets, one tuba, one trumpet, one french horn, one flute, one alto saxophone, one saxophone, one baritone, and one Collin Geyer, who acted as a stand to help out the french horn. And then there was Kathryn, who kept them all together.
