Girls and boys cross country teams both qualified for the State Finals at Regionals on Saturday, October 31. Girls took second place behind Harbor Springs, and boys took third behind Harbor Springs and Ellsworth. The boys team also beat East Jordan and Gaylord St. Mary for the first time all season.
“I think both boys and girls did great Saturday,” girls coach Sarah Furman said.

All seven boys ran personal bests in the Regional, earning the boys team their first trip to the Finals.
