Varsity Bulldogs Can’t Slow Down Bellaire

Monday night, the Bulldogs traveled to Bellaire to take on the top team in the Ski Valley Conference.

The Varsity held Bellaire to well below their season average, only allowing them to score 48 points, however couldn’t find a way to turn good defense into a solid offense.

The boys had troubles on offense, only netting 12 points in the first half and 28 for the game.

The offensive troubles aren’t a common occurrence for the boys, as they went into Bellaire averaging 67 points per game.

Leading the scoring for the Bulldogs was Mike O’Connor with 10, and Andrew Dufek with 8.

The final score was 48-28 Bellaire taking the home win. The Bulldogs have Mancelona Wednesday at home.
