Coming off a tough 2 point lose to Onaway on Tuesday, the Bulldogs looked to bounce back against Pellston of Thursday.

The game started off back and forth with the Bulldog offense looking strong, but struggling on the other end of the court. The offense was lead by senior Kyle Whitman who was able to exploit the size and skill match up he had in the post. Down 34-22 going into halftime, the Bulldogs knew they had a hole to get out of to make it out of Pellston with a critical conference win.

The second half was much like the first a lot of back and forth action, this time the momentum was coming on by Inland Lakes. They were down 16 at one point and brought it within 3 off a Whitman free throw. Junior Tristan Overholt grabbed a big offensive rebound and put it back up which made it a 1 point game, but by then it was too late and the game ended with a final score of 61-60.

The Bulldogs were lead by senior Kyle Whitman who had 14 points. Cleveland Baker added 9. Caeden Blumke added 8, and Ronnie LaBrecque scored 6.

The boys teams play again Tuesday, Dec. 19 against Hillman at home.
