Coming into this conference game the boys had their sights set on taking down the Ironmen of Mancelona, and moving up in conference standings. With sophomore Ian Clancy on the mound the bulldogs were hoping to get two big wins on the road. In the first game the bulldogs were in control most of the game. In the later innings the Ironmen picked up their bats and came back for the 6-5 win.

In game two the Bulldogs were now trying to split with Mancelona on the day. With sophomore Ben Schramm on the mound they hoped to get some defensive support. Having a 5-2 lead going into the fifth inning the bulldogs thought they had the game wrapped up until Mancelona tied the game in the fifth off an dropped fly ball. Going into extra innings the bulldogs bats would not wake up. In the seventh inning Mancelona was able to complete the sweep with a walk off single.

The varsity boys are now 5-4-1 overall and 3-3 in conference play. They host Bellaire on Monday.
