Twisted Minds Attractions gives thrills

Are you a thrill seeker? Do you enjoy horror movies and/or haunted houses? If so, the twisted Mind Attractions in Wolverine is just the place for you.

When I first got there, the very first thing I saw was somebody dressed as Pennywise the clown, and I already knew it wasn’t going to be good. I have a phobia of clowns, so I knew that it was going to be scary, for me at least. Collin Geyer, Anthony Sutherland, Hailie Boettger, and I all went on Saturday, Oct. 13. It was about 8:30 at night, so it was already dark, which made things even scarier.

When we got there, we walked in and there was another clown. But he took his mask off after a couple of minutes, because he couldn’t breathe. That was good for me, because I did not have to look at it anymore. After we all paid the $15, one of the guys that were dressed up walked us to the path to the house. Once we got inside the house, a witch lady showed us which door to go through. As soon as we walked in, we were pressed against a wall. If you are claustrophobic, I do not suggest going.

After walking through the tight space, there was another clown that led us to another room. I was holding onto Collin as tight as possible, because the clown was so close to us. And then there was a girl who was crawling on the floor. I joked at her and said, “Is that you, the grudge?” A little later on, there was a guy with a white mask on and a fake chainsaw. Along with another guy, I do not remember exactly what he was wearing, but they were following us around. I told the guy with the chainsaw to cut my head off as a joke, and he raised the chainsaw up and then shook his head.

Throughout the whole house, I was making jokes because that is my way to cope through scary things. There was a couple jump scares. I may or may not have used some foul language, but let’s not talk about that. Nearing the end, there was a clown, and I remember saying “Oh **** no, I don’t mess with clowns.” Of course, I was in the very back. He wasn’t even a foot away from me, so I pushed Collin and everybody else forwards because I was on the verge of crying because of how sketched out I was from that freaky clown. He was doing that creepy thing that the girl in The Grudge does when she tilts her head side to side and I was not enjoying it.
