Wednesday, November 22 students will have a half day to kick off Thanksgiving break. For most, Thursday will be full of family, friends, and tons of good food, plus the tradition of watching the Lions Thanksgiving game at 12:30.
“I am going to cook dinner with my mom, have family come visit and eat dinner with us,” junior Tyra Fletcher said.
Fletcher is also looking forward to her favorite part of the day: watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Senior Mya DeMello said, “I will be having Thanksgiving dinner at my house with all of my family.”
A word of warning for all people who plan on deep frying a turkey on Thursday: make sure it is completely thawed so we don’t have any explosions!
