Red Dead Redemption 2 game review

Red Dead Redemption 2’s release has been long awaited. Rockstar, the creators of the game, haven’t made a serious game since Grand Theft Auto V’s release for PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 on September 17th, 2013 and for PlayStation 4 & Xbox One on November 18th, 2014. Red Dead Redemption 2 exceeded expectations as the game wrapped up about 725 million dollars over its opening weekend. This is the second biggest three-day release in entertainment, Right behind Grand theft auto 5’s 1 billion dollars.

The game takes place in 1899, the main character, Arthur Morgan, is part of a gang where they rob towns to survive. The story starts out with the gang trudging through the snow trying to run away from their previous home in Blackwater. After a few beginning missions, you end up in a small camp outside of town where you take refuge.

What makes this game a big hit? Many fans were taken back because of the high attention to details. For example, as Morgan shot a common shopkeeper in the leg. The next time he stepped foot into the store, the shopkeeper had a wooden leg. This suggested that the keeper had an infection, which was common in that time frame, and had to amputate the leg. Likewise, someone shot a shopkeeper in the head, they went back the next day to find out that the shopkeeper’s head was then bandaged. Details were also put into the animals as well. One person was watching the animals in a field as a pack of wolves ganged up on a bear, as they got closer, the bear let out a roar and the wolves ran away. The game also gained more popularity as people were posting about how and where they lost their hat in the game.

Believe it or not, detail isn’t the only thing fans love about the game. The game has a multitude of things to occupy your time. Some people prefer playing in the story, but a lot of people enjoy indulging themselves in the open world. The game has many factors to it. The game has many aspects to it, including hunting, fishing, poker, bounties, and a knife game known as pin finger. You also can’t forget about the ability to rob or kill whenever. Soon there will be an addition of an online mode.

Red Dead Redemption 2, was highly rated in reviews.
