The team had tough competition against the team on the road. The Bulldogs were changing the pace as if trying to change the whole tempo of the game to help them against Hornets.
The Bulldogs started off good in the first quarter and could get some shots to fall. As the first quarter score was 19-11.
Coming out of halftime the Bulldogs felt good and had a fire out of them at the beginning of the quarter but slowly fell off during the quarter as the quarter ended the score was 22-11.
“I believe having a bigger lead you tend to be less aggressive,” Jesse Witulski said, “ But, I mean, if your lead’s so big, it’s kinda like your training up your secondary. If you’re up by like 40 or so, it’s just about the playing experience.”
The Bulldogs came out of the half ready to put their foot down and not let up as the third quarter score was 45-16.
In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs were able to start to relax as they strolled into a 51-25 win. Evan Malczynski-Fairchild the leading scorer with 16. Will Jacobs and Hunter Bishop both with 8.
