NHS planning induction ceremony

Senior Chris Murray was inducted into the National Honor Society during the ceremony on March 7, 2017. The chapter is planning a January 22 ceremony for this year's inductions.

This chapter of the National Honors Society has selected students from the class of 2018 and 2019 to join due to their scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Adviser Cindy Morley has called the first meeting for new and returning members for Thursday, January 11, after school. The meeting is rescheduled from a January 5 meeting which did not happen after school was canceled.

“We are going to go over inductions, the volunteer service hour requirements and getting everyone set up with the Remind,” adviser Cindy Morley said.

Inductions have been set for January 22 at the Cross in the Woods.

Juniors who were accepted are excited to participate in their first activities for NHS.

“When I found out that I was accepted I could have jumped and touched the sky,” Jaimee Vizina said. “But, hey, the sky’s the limit.”
