Boys Take W’s at DeTour

Coming off big Snowcoming wins against Central Lake last Friday, the boys headed to DeTour Monday night for non-conference play.

The junior varsity boys came in with a 6-2 record and a 4 game win streak. The Bulldogs had to play without Kyle Whitman who has been a big part of the teams offense and played with the varsity Monday night. They came out strong right out of the gate and never looked back. The final score was 71-23. Cleveland Baker 22 points and Triston Overholt had 12. Everyone on the team scored.

The varsity team started the game off slow. Missing some shots early, the Bulldogs came into halftime with a small 22-17 lead. In the second half the Bulldogs came out firing and never looked back. The Bulldogs won 56-39. Ian Clancy had 18 points in his first came back since his injury on December 15. Andrew Dufek had 13 points and 8 rebounds.

The boys teams play Gaylord St. Mary at home on Wednesday, February 3.
