With the Junior Varsity boys baseball season ending on Thursday, the Bulldogs are trying to finish there season on a high note. Traveling to the Upper Penninsula to face Rudyard they felt confident knowing sophomore Ronnie Labrecque would be on the mound. The first game started off strong with the first half of the lineup getting on base. With the bottom half of the lineup struggling to get on base the Bulldogs had to manufacture runs when they could. Labrecque kept the defensive end of the game solid and the JV boys came out with a 6-2 win.
In game two the Bulldogs had freshman Tristan Overholt on the mound. Game the bottom half of the lineup still struggled to get hits, but managed to get on base. The Bulldogs managed to get some late runs on the board and took the win in game two with a score of 4-2.
Taking a sweep in Rudyard the junior varsity boys finish their season on Thursday in Cheboygan.
