The players were excited to win their first nonconference game.
“I feel that it was a good win it’s good going into Christmas break,” Hunter Bishop said. “We still got our moments. We just have to keep putting in work, but I feel we would be a lot better for our team if it were a conference game because then we would be three and 0 in the conference and we would be doing great in the conference and trying to go for back-to-back but I mean I’ll take a win either way.”
The team has put in the hard work.
“We’ve definitely put in the work,” Zackrey Chevalier said. “We’ve been going to practice every day. We wanted to get this win before the Christmas break. We got it, so hopefully we get another one after break.”
