With a canceled game Tuesday, the junior varsity boys had to wait until Thursday to travel to Forest Area for a tough conference game.
The Bulldogs came out hot with sophomore Luke Parker getting all of his 10 points in the first quarter. Parker did not play the rest of the game because of an injury. The defense struggled in the first half, but the fast offense of coach Lee Nash was able to back them up. The defense stepped up in the second half as the junior varsity boys were able to get the 48-36 win.
Sophomores Luke Mayer and Luke Parker lead the team scoring 10 points each, freshman Nathaniel Wandrie added 9 points, and sophomore Caeden Blumke added 8.
“We put in work, and we show it on the court,” sophomore Caeden Blumke said.
