JV handles the Cardinals again

On Jan. 31 the junior varsity Bulldogs hosted the Onaway Cardinals. They knew from the last time they played that this was going to be a close game so would they would have to come out strong.

In the first quarter both teams were playing good defense, with the Bulldogs holding a slim 8-6 lead.

Through the second quarter the Bulldogs were getting a lot of steals and starting to make their shots. By the end of the quarter the Bulldogs had extended the lead to 21-12.

Going into the second half the JV knew that they should have been beating them by more than they were. They stepped up their defense and started running their offense more fluently. The Bulldogs were stomping on the Cardinals at the end of the third quarter, 38-16.

In the fourth JV Bulldogs just kept playing their game and kept the lead up.

At the end the final score was 53-23, Bulldogs with the win.
