Jump Rope for Heart

Students from last year's Jump for Heart jump rope during halftime of the junior varsity girls game.

This year, the elementary school will be hosting the Jump Rope for Heart charity once more. Jump Rope for Heart is an association that raises money for people who have heart issues. Everyone who participates in this activity will be trying to donate as much as they can by trying to get sponsors and supporters to pledge donations. The students that participate in this jump roping campaign show the teachers, parents, students and also supports that they care about supporting heart association.

This year, it will be performed on February 18 at halftime of the JV girls basketball game which starts at 5:30, and it will also take place in the elementary multi-purpose room on February 19 at 1:30.

Some of the sponsors are Subway and Shape America, and there mission is to build healthier lives. Jump Rope for Heart has been around for thirty five years and counting and it has helped a lot of people in need. Donations can be made on behalf of the American Heart Association.
