Mr. John Hulbert, Mrs. Elizabeth Fairbanks and Mrs. Rebecca Heckman hold a Cocoa and Cram every year to help students get prepared for winter exams. This will be the second year of Cocoa and Cram.
“The session is from 3-5,” Hulbert said. “It’s on Monday.”
The teachers will be providing hot chocolate and snacks for the students attending. Going to Cocoa and Cram can benefit you in so many ways. It can get you help from other classmates and teachers, and it will give you a quiet place to focus on your academics. Students will also be rewarded if they choose to go.
“Anybody attending the cocoa and cram can go to the boys basketball game that night for free,” Hulbert said.
Last year Mrs. Heckman had a good turn out. Between 20 and 30 people are expected to attend this year. Students tend to find the quiet place, an effective place study.
“I went to cocoa and cram last year and it was really effective because it helped me stay focused and got my extra credit done,” senior Taylor Fletcher said.
Cocoa and Cram helps students stay on task and get a lot of work done with some help from hot chocolate, friends and teachers. Inland Lakes will continue to do it as long as it goes smoothly as the past years.
