With Christmas only 34 days away, The Chamber of Commerce are getting ready for their 35th annual Christmas in Indian River. The events start on Friday, November 27 at 10 a.m.
Events include the Chamber of Commerce’s craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Inland Lakes Secondary School. At 5 p.m. there will be story time with Mrs. Claus for children. Also at 5 p.m. there will be Christmas carolers roaming the streets. Hot dogs and soup will be available afterwards on the Village Green next to the Chamber of Commerce downtown. Around 6 p.m. there will be a parade before a meet-and-greet with Santa. The lighting of the tree follows Santa, then at 6:30 p.m. the Petoskey Steel Drum Band performs at B.C. Pizza.
