Coach Erin Basgall says that it was one of the hardest routines she has ever formatted, with three different songs in her remix instead of her usual two. The routine lasted just over three minutes. The cheerleaders have been practicing since August to get this routine to perfection.
With only a little over a month to prepare, it was a nerve racking experience for everyone on the team.
“I was very scared that our stunts weren’t going to get up,” two-year veteran Ariana Whipp said. “This routine felt like it was going to set off the rest off our seasons for Inland Lakes Cheerleading.”
With the continued growth of the program, this routine has been part of the process.
“It would really change the way people see Inland Lakes Cheer,” Whipp said.
