Inland Lakes traveled to Cheboygan on May, 15 to compete against four other teams, Cheboygan, Saint Ignance, and the Sault. The boys team finished in 3rd place with a total of 58 points while the girls team finished in 3rd as well with a total of 35 points.

“It was great to let the boys compete against the eastern UP. They have some very talented runners and it was nice to give the team some different competition to run against,” boys coach Brandon Beltz said.
“I was happy to compete and mix a few things up to see where we sit before Saturday. Some girls tried new events and we mixed up our relay teams and relay orders. It was great to be able to compete against some tough UP schools one last time this season,” girls coach Sarah Furman said.
