Inland Lakes took on the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals on Friday, February 5. The boys fought through a tough battle, but unfortunately came up 10 points short.

Senior Ryan Howery started the game off on a good note with possession of the tip off. Howery had some strong rebounds and a much needed steal towards the end.

Dufek had 9 points and a shot put up within 40 seconds of the start of the game to get the excitement and adrenaline pumping throughout the Cardinal’s gymnasium.

Sophomore Kyle Whitman played his second game on the varsity team and really stepped it up.

Senior Mike O’Conner had a tremendous shooting range tonight and put up 21 points. Sophomore point guard Ian Clancy added 10.

Bulldogs had the lead early, then lost their energy towards the end of the second quarter. They came out strong in the second half, but could not pull it together enough to take the win home.

Final score 54-64.
