JV Girls Cannot Overcome Slow Start

The JV Bulldogs hosted a game against the Onaway Cardinals on Wednesday January, 13.

The Bulldogs struggled from the start. By the end of the first half, the score was 9-21 cardinals.

The Bulldogs got their head in the game to start the second half, scoring 11 straight to cut the the score to 20-21 with 3:05 seconds left in the third. But the Bulldogs got tired out by giving it their all in the third quarter, starting the fourth quarter quite tired.

“If we would have started out stronger in the first half, the game would have been ours,” freshman Hailey Shank said

The ending score of the game was 27-36 cardinals. Hannah Green led with 14 points.
